Are Christians not supposed to marry muslim women for her own safety?

A Muslim should marry a Muslim, a Jew a Jew, and a Christian a Christian. Why? Back in the OT, God forbade the Israelites not to marry the Amalakites, etc.etc.etc. basically anything outside the 12 tribes. Why? It was not due to racial ethnicity but religious. By mingling with the pagans there is the danger of being drawn away to the false gods. Which God does not want. You might think that won't happen to me, but if it happened to Solomon in all his wisdom and splendor it can happen to you. Racially if the person is Christian either black or white they are Christian, the same with Jewish, and Islam.
