Do you let entertainers' personal lives/political views affect how much you enjoy their work?

You hear a lot of people say things like "I can't listen to Bruce Springsteen anymore because he's a liberal" or "I won't watch any Brad Pitt movies because he left his wife" or whatever. I guess this question could apply to sports, too. What do you think?
