What are some good solos for an alto singer from musicals or the jazz era.?

I am planning on trying out for my college's Madraliers choir and I have a lower voice (I can sing tenor well). I was wondering if anyone could think of some good songs that I could use for tryouts. They don't have to be from a musical or the jazz era, but I would prefer something that was from the 1960s or earlier.
