I have an wd my pport drive (250 gb) need help?

well i have a few qustions. im putting al l my cds on the WD HD thru windows media player. im putting all the artist separete in folders. im i good so far? and how do i use the sync program? also i wanto play it onmy car stereo im i going to be able to play it doin it thru WMP
