Problems with my mother n law....?

I have been having problems with my mother n law. She clearly doesnt like me and has always belittled me infront of my children and makes snide remarks. My husband doesnt say anything and when i bring it up he says he doesnt see it but i find it hard to believe because it is so blatant. Would I be wrong if I decided i no longer wanted her to see the kids? She has done nothing to the kids but is very nasty to me infront of them. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. Advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
